Embraer Phenom
La cie JetBird qui a commandé 59 Phenom 100 réussira-t-elle en Europe là où d'autres ( DayJet au USA ) n'ont pas réussi ?
Air taxi start-up JetBird has taken a step closer to the commercial launch of its pan-European operation in September with the unveiling of its online flight booking system.
JetBird has firm orders for 59 Embraer Phenom 100 very light jets and has an option on a further 41 Phenom
100s and/or Phenom 300 light jets.[Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir cette image]
The start-up says the booking system - which is now in its testing phase - is unique to the European private jet industry. "While most scheduled commercial airlines currently offer an internet-based, real-time booking service, no existing European private jet operators, whose services are by their nature unscheduled, provide such a service. Instead, only web-based quoting services are provided, while booking must be completed on the phone or via an intermediary."

Sur Flight Global :
The [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien] is approaching the final stages of its certification campaign. The light business jet has amassed more than 850h of testing since its maiden flight in April 2008, and approval and first
deliveries are earmarked for the fourth quarter.
The milestones should coincide with the inauguration of a new service centre at Embraer's São José dos Campos headquarters dedicated to maintaining and supporting Embraer business jets based throughout Latin America.
The fifth Phenom 300 made its first flight at the Brazilian airframer's Gavião Peixoto facility in early August. The 10-seat aircraft - registration PP-XVM - will be used for function and reliability testing and will form part of the programme's maturity campaign.
"The fleet of four prototypes has accumulated over 850 test flight hours to date," says Embraer's vice-president for executive jet programmes Maurício Almeida.
"With this fifth aircraft, we will validate the robustness of the Phenom 300 under normal operating conditions."
Embraer says the aircraft is on target to achieve its design and performance goals. "Equipped with swept wings and high performance winglets, the Phenom 300 will cruise at 450kt [833km/h] and fly 3,330km with six occupants," says Embraer
Embraer is tight-lipped on the order tally for the $6.85 million, Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E-powered twinjet, but says the total sales of the Phenom family - which includes the more popular Phenom 100 very light jet sibling - exceeds 800.
Meanwhile, Embraer has clinched Australian certification for the Phenom 100, giving the airframer a firm foothold in this potentially lucrative region. The approval comes seven months after the six-seat aircraft received Brazilian and US certification and three months after European validation was granted.

Re: Embraer Phenom
Le Phenom 300 a reçu sa certification de l'ENAC brésilien !
10 occupants, ça fait 8 pax : vu la taille, c'est le maximum ultra léger, serré.
The Embraer Phenom 300 light jet received type and production certificates from Brazil's ANAC National Civil Aviation Authority on Dec. 3.
The aircraft, powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535-Es, can accommodate up to 10 occupants and has a design life of 35,000 flight hours. It has a top speed of 453 kt.
TAS (true airspeed), a maximum range of 1,971 nautical miles (with six occupants and NBAA IFR reserves), and a 45,000-foot operational ceiling.
The Phenom 300's takeoff field length at maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) is 3,138 feet -- an improvement when compared to the original 3,700 feet. Its landing distance at maximum landing weight is now 2,621 feet --329 feet shorter than the targeted 2,950 feet.
The Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil-based aircraft manufacturer expects the FAA type certificate to be issued in the coming weeks. Embraer's customer support and services structure is prepared for the Phenom 300's entry into service.
According to Embraer, the list price of the FAA-certified Phenom 300 will be $8.14 million, under 2010 economic conditions.

Re: Embraer Phenom
Les Phenoms en quantité pour soutenir Embraer ?
Suffisamment ?

The Brazilian manufacturer delivered only 16 Phenom 100s and one Phenom 300 in the first three months of 2010.
But Embraer Executive Jets vice-president sales and marketing for North America Ernest Edwards says Embraer is on track to meet its 2010 Phenom family delivery target of 120 aircraft.
"I don't anticipate problems meeting the delivery objectives for this year," he says.
Edwards says the delivery figure for the first three months of this year may seem small because the factory was emptied in December with 42 Phenom 100 deliveries in one month.
He says Embraer expects to make up the relatively slow first quarter with a higher rate of deliveries the rest of the year.
He adds that while [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien], resulting in the unusually high figure for December, "today we don't see financing as an issue".
[Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien], falling more than 10 aircraft short of its target. Edwards says there are no more [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien], which affected Phenom 100 output in the first half of 2009, and the line is now at full speed. "The Phenom 100 production line is flowing well now," he says.
After delivering its first Phenom 300 at the end of December and a second aircraft in January, the Brazilian airframer did not deliver a single Phenom 300 in February or March.
But Edwards says deliveries are set to resume by the end of April and the two-month gap in customer deliveries was driven by Embraer's decision to make small modifications to the aircraft.
"We're trying to get the quality right before delivery," he says.
He adds that Embraer had preferred to modify the first two production aircraft before delivery, but the customers required the aircraft in December and January, respectively. As a result these ended up being delivered significantly earlier than the third aircraft, which was modified before delivery.
While Embraer delivered only one Phenom 300 in the first quarter, Edwards points out that a second aircraft was completed and is being used as a company-owned demonstrator.
The demonstrator is in Europe in the lead-up to EBACE and is scheduled to tour the USA in May.
While there are only two Phenom 300s in service, there are now over 120 Phenom 100s operating.
Edwards says the Phenom 100 fleet has already accumulated more than 10,000 flights.
While Embraer has more than 600 firm orders for the Phenom family, Edwards says there are some available
delivery slots this year. He says for the Phenom 300 there are "couple of slots" in December that were created when Embraer decided in November to marginally increase Phenom 300 production for 2010.
For the Phenom 100 he says "we have three or four slots" that opened from customer cancellations.
While sales have been slow over the past year, Edwards says there is signs the market is starting to recover, including increased utilisation at charter operators.
"We're beginning to see what we think is a slow recovery," Edwards says.
"Slowly the buyers are coming out hibernation. We're hoping they come out of full hibernation and start buying airplanes again."
