Atlasjet Havacılık A.Ş. is an airline based in Florya, Bakirköy, Istanbul, Turkey,operating domestic and international scheduled passenger services and regular charter flights to Europe, Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, usually out of either Atatürk International Airport, Istanbul, Ercan Airport, Northern Cyprus, Adnan Menderes Airport, Izmir or Antalya Airport.

History
The airline was established on 14 March 2001 and started operations on 1 June 2001. Formerly known as Atlasjet International Airlines, it was set up as a subsidiary of Öger Holdings. In 2004 ETS Group acquired a 45% stake, which was increased to 90% in February 2006 following the taking over of Öger's 45% holding. The company is led by its CEO Orhan Coşkun had 730 employees (as of 2007).

Turkey's Atlasjet in talks for 15 A320neo or CSeries aircraft

Turkish carrier Atlasjet aims to renew its fleet with 15 aircraft and is eyeing the [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien] A320neo and the [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien] Cseries.
Atlasjet chairman Murat Ersoy said the carrier has started negotiations with Airbus and Bombardier with a view to adding 15 A320neo or Cseries aircraft.
He added that the carrier plans to sign a contract in June.
"With new generation aircraft, we want to save fuel and have a competitive product on the market," said Ersoy. The airline plans to add the aircraft over the next five years.
Atlasjet also plans to take delivery of three more Airbus A321s in 2011.

Bombardier Secures AtlasJet CSeries Commitment

Turkey’s AtlasJet is buying Bombardier CSeries narrowbodies, providing a much needed boost to the Canadian manufacturer’s flagship commercial airliner program.

The deal, not yet firm, is for 10 CS300s and five options, and valued at up to $1.18 billion.

It is the first pure low-fare airline order for the CSeries, says Bombardier Aerospace president Guy Hachey, who notes customers have spoken for 262 CSeries aircraft (133 aircraft are firm orders).

AtlasJet will receive its first aircraft in the first quarter 2016, with mid-2017 the final delivery. The configuration is not set, yet, but it will be single class.

Bombardier hopes the deal will become firm still this year.

Other deals are in the works. Hachey says “we are still talking to Qatar.”

Overall, Hachet says the development program has used its buffer, but the in-service dates have not changed.
