Midwest Airlines (subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings) (Milwaukee) will phase out the last Boeing 717 on November 3. This represents the last type flown by the original Midwest pilots. All other Midwest Airlines flying will be conducted by sister airlines Republic Airlines (2nd) and Chautauqua Airlines under the Midwest and Midwest Connect brand. What
aircraft will be operated on the Midwest AOC to keep the AOC alive?

MILWAUKEE - It was an emotional night Monday at Mitchell Airport.
The final Midwest Airlines flight on a Boeing 717 landed just before 10 p.m.
Many former Midwest pilots and flight attendants gathered at the airport to say "goodbye."
The plane was flown by the last so called "legacy crew" for Midwest.
From now on all the places and crews come from Republic and Frontier airlines, the new owners of the Midwest brand.
Many of the Midwest pilots and flight attendants have been eliminated because Republic has pilots and flight crews (who make less money) for its own planes.
Many at Monday night's show of unity believed they help build the airline that is called "The Best Care the Air" and "Milwaukee's home town airline" but they will no longer be a part of the company's future.
